These are the 1963 period glasses for my character, Dale Harding. I just got them in the mail and I love them! My last character had huge glasses from the late 1980's. Those are hard to make look good, but these are super sweet! I'll love wearing them when the show is over. It's going great, by the way. We had our first stumble through the whole show except for the final scene, yesterday. Off book for act 1 and almost off book for act 2. The scripts will be completely out of our hands soon and we'll be able to really play and explore. We have been doing really interesting character work as a group outside of rehearsals, too. Stuff I haven't done since school, when we all lived in the same place. This is a really special cast. The show is going to be EPIC. I'm so glad I get to be a part of it!

I work for this crazy wine maker who is letting me and my family live at the winery through crush season. He's been telling me to make a website on weebly for months and I finally listened to him. I figure he's built quite a beautiful life for himself and maybe he knows a thing or two!
In business school they taught us about looking for mentors and being able to take their advice. I feel pretty lucky to have a mentor like Kaz.
On a side note, we just sold the last bottle of the 2010 Mainliner (Lenoir is the varietal) yesterday. It is one of the most interesting wines I've ever tasted, and as my wife would say, it is "yummy." I can't wait until we bottle another run of it. We have about 4 cases of the 2011 Bullseye (Petit Sirah varietal) left, which is possibly my favorite wine EVER! It's always a little sad to see them go, but I know there are good things on the horizon.

I've been building a new website for the last couple of days. Rehearsals for Cuckoo's Nest are going ridiculously well. I'm loving life at my new home in Kenwood, CA. Gas prices are rising thanks to the threat of yet another war in the middle east. At least we have good wine and good friends.
